Discover the historical treasures in the Bayside area of Virginia Beach with a day of activities on the Bayside History Trail on Saturday, May 18, 2012 from 10 am until 4 pm.  Visit five sites for tours and activities including Adam Thoroughgood House (1636 Parish Rd.), Ferry Plantation House (4136 Cheswick Lane) , Chapel at Haygood United Methodist Church (4713 Haygood Rd.), Lynnhaven House (4409 Wishart Road), Old Donation Church (10am - 2pm) (4449 N. Witchduck Rd.)and .  Visit the Chapel at Haygood United Methodist Church and two other sites and redeem your "passport" for a commemorative button at the Bayside Public Library (936 Independence Blvd.).  The button will be mailed to you.   You may also download your passport here by clicking on the download option.  The event is free and open to the public.  Read the passport for specific activities at each site.
