Celebrate Halloween with a journey to the past at Superstitions Night on October 26, 2013, at the Lynnhaven House and Colonial Education Center. This family-friendly program will include a walking tour of the site, seasonal activities for all ages, and refreshments. Tours will run periodically between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m.Virginia’s early settlers brought a wide range of myths and spiritual beliefs with them. People from the past, including a wolf-trapper’s son, Stingy Jack, and Grace Sherwood, will explain some common and uncommon superstitions.Admission for this event is $5.00 per person. Children 5 and under are admitted free. The Lynnhaven House is one of the oldest surviving colonial homes in Virginia, dating to 1725.
