At the heart of the mission of the Virginia Beach History Museums is education. School programs are designed to meet multiple Standards of Learning (SOLs) for elementary grades.  Classes participate in these programs by making a site visit or by having a presentation in their own classroom.

In addition to school programming, the Virginia Beach History Museums offer programs designed for Girls Scouts to earn site patches and meet other badge requirements. Public programs for general audiences are presented throughout the year.
