Special tours of the Adam Thoroughgood House, Francis Land House and Lynnhaven House are available to Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts throughout the year, Tuesday through Saturday. Scout programs focus on the history of each site, the daily life of the people who lived there and the early settlement of Virginia. Each tour is approximately 40 minutes in length. Reservations for tours must be made at least two weeks in advance of visitation. Please call (757) 460-7530 for rates and reservations.
Girl Scout patch tours are offered for Brownies and Junior Girl Scouts at the cost of $3 per scout with house patch included. Tours for Daisy Scouts are offered without a patch at a cost of $1 per scout. There is a $3 admission charge for each adult chaperone with tour. No charge for scout leaders.
Boy Scout tours are offered at the cost of $2 per scout. Tours for Tiger Cubs are $1 per scout. There is a $3 admission charge for each adult chaperone with tour. No charge for scout leaders.
