Celebrate Women’s History Month on March 2 by exploring needlework, a skill that women of the past were expected to master. Visitors can try their hand at whitework, a form of embroidery. This event will feature the traditional embroidery to stitch, as well as card stock versions with plastic needles for the kids. In addition, enjoy story time at 11:30. featuring Every-Day Story-Time by Selina Alko. There will be opportunities for dress up and photo ops for the little ones!
March 2 will be the first day of the Student Art Show at the Francis Land House. Admission is free for participating student artists and their families. Visitors are invited to cast their votes for best in show!
