Colonists in early America often used folklore and superstition to try to make sense of the unknown, suspicious and unexplainable. From lucky horseshoes to witch bottles, come to the Thoroughgood House to learn more about the unique ways colonial Americans coped with their fears in a new continent, and how they spurred new traditions!
Tours are available every 30 minutes from 5:30pm-8:00pm on Thursday, August 12. All tours are FREE and open to the public. No advanced registration required.
