| Details | Come to the Lynnhaven House Colonial Education Center September 20th for "Conversation with a Curator," featuring a viewing of the Thelaball Family Bible! The Bible, which dates back to 1743, was owned by Prudence Thelaball, granddaughter of the man who built the Lynnhaven House, Francis Thelaball! Museums Director Annmarie Reiley-Kay will give a FREE lecture about the history of the Bible, the Thelaball Family and Lynnhaven House, as well as a discussion about what it takes to preserve centuries-old artifacts! This event is FREE and open to the public. Advanced registration is not required. Light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Virginia Beach Historic Houses, Inc.
