To plot a course for the future, HAI and the Virginia Beach History Museums seek feedback from the Virginia Beach community at a public meeting. HAI will give residents an overview of their interpretive plan initiative and ask for feedback, including how residents currently interact with the historic homes, how they'd like to use them in the future, and what can be done to improve the guest experience. The Convention Center will also have a COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic happening on the day of the Public Meeting. The best location for meeting attendees to park will be the parking lot directly across from the Tower in the South Parking Lot, and then to walk directly across and enter through the Ballroom Glass Doors. The Hall A glass doors will be open as well. Signage inside the building will direct attendees to the correct location, and Convention Center staff will inform Vaccination Clinic staff that this event will be taking place, so they can direct anyone who may enter the building on their end to the correct location. In accordance with current health and safety guidance, meeting attendees and staff who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will not be required to wear a mask or face covering. Attendees and staff who have yet to be vaccinated, or are only partially vaccinated, will be required to wear a mask or face covering while in the building.
